our next outing is materialising!!!
We're finally going to have our next exco outing again.. and this time it looks like we're gonna have the 8 of us together!!! Yipppeee!! =))
2 July 2005 (Sat)Harbour Front MRT Stn Ctrl5:30pmHere's the agenda:We gonna have dinner at Harbour Front Centre.. then we'll head down to sentosa and spend the nite there! We can watch the musical fountain or hang around at the beach! Do take note that the
entrance fee to sentosa is $3.. so do prepare enough money in your pockets!
Mel's gonna bring the cam! anyone has mat.. sparklers.. cards..?? Should we bring some snacks.. or drinks along??

hope this doesn't upset abi...but i PASSED my driving test!!
whohoo!! PASSED the test 1st time lah.. so exciting.. been driving my dad's car on short trips.. cuz his honda accord is like so much bigger than the honda civics i use at the driving centre... den alot more difficult to manouvere.. but i'll manage with more practice :)
anyway i took the 9:15am test on friday.. which i really must say is a better timing than the 8plus slot abi took.. cuz there's enough cars to convince the tester that u can handle traffic.. but not too much traffic because there's no rush hour traffic with those a*hole drivers that just can't seem to see that we have 2 'L' plates and that we're on test... so abi, i'm sure ur skills are ok.. just that the tester was crap and the road conditions weren't gd like u said lah..
think huiyian must be like so relieved now..haha. cuz she booked the 9:15am slot too.. jiayou.. just be more daring on the road to handle the treacherous traffic but do the circuit stuff just like how u always do during lessons la.. shd be ok..
anyway, abt my driving test.. i must say i got a pretty ok tester.. cuz i was the last one left in the waiting room and the last to move out.. so i had to wait alot to do the circuit stuff.. and also i was like so nervous when i first moved off that my left leg was shaking when i clutched-out.. seriously shaking lor.. but after that i just imagined that the tester was a normal instructor lor.. den miraculously i was ok le.. despite all that the tester passed me.. phew..
the funniest thing was the tester didn't let me do the circuit slope and emergency brake and we went out on the road.. den after that he also cut short the test route den i ended up being like the 3rd car to come back out of the 8 cars who were having test that day.. and i was e last to go out!!
so i was act quite scared when i got out of the car and i tot i failed lor.. but aft that when we go into the waiting room the instructor just told me that i must not be hesitant during turning at junctions and the next thing he said was do i have a photo with me... and so.. i passed with 14 pts!!!
oh yah abi, wanna share a viewpt.. i was thinking that they probably fail pple if the quota for passing is reached... cuz e session i took there were 8 pple.. den 4 passed and 4 failed... where got so just nice one.. i mean, if u think abt it, the traffic police also have to regulate the number of new drivers so as to mayb prevent accidents due to inexperience (?).. and oso to regulate the no. of cars on the road.. pple who passed can drive (duh..) and means there's the chance they'll buy cars.. so yeah.. i'm pretty sure u can pass the next time abi.. just dun choose test timings with rush hour traffic.. mayb u can take the saturday morning slot.. got a instructor tell me not so many cars and more smooth la..
ok.. hope i haven't sound like i'm boasting or anything.. just tot i'll share abt my experience like abi did.. so huiyian and anqi can know more (?) jiayou anqi with ur driving lessons too.. think u shd be gonna finish and book test le?
boo hoo abt the bbq pit booking at anqi's place.. huiyian, i think i'm running out of ideas le.. nobody else is coming up with stuff and the stuff we come up with we feel is boring.. haha.. what a headache..
oh, for those who dunno.. anqi can't get a pit at her place on the saturday we arranged to go out.. dunno wat new arrangements is huiyian making thou... hopefully things will go ok..
btw, shileng never talk here a long time le.. he's still in taiwan is it? haha..

Before you book for a test
OK, those booking the driving test in Bukit Batok Area.Dont book the 825 slot.Dont get the teckwhye lane.I have a U-turn that leads to a busy road in the morning, two steep slopes.One of the slope requires a right turn.Two big right turns that brings you to busy road.2 twindling roads that have lorries doing illegal parking.Yes! the teckwhye market place.i think it is Route 8. But i think that is the most exciting road!

Dont read this if you are taking your test soon
Hello, just took my driving practical test. I failed by 6 points. Got too many lorries parking along the roads and everyone rushing for work before nine. It is ok. Being young and inexperience, it is natural to under-perform.
Circuit was perfect.My tester was ten min late.so my test lasted for only fifteen min.(haha…didn’t allow me to make my Money’s worth) Rushing thru all the courses and instructing me to move without allowing me to see the traffic situation.
What’s worse is that at the end he said “So, what do you think?” (Sarcastic)
Abigail: “Fail…Haha”
Tester: “ You are supposed to be sad”
Abigail: “Why should I? I am Young and have set aside money as an investment and I AM NOT TURNING BACK!”
Tester: “ Do you realize that no girls passed this morning?”
Abigail: “For all you know that these men are taking it for the second time.”
Tester: “ BUT why you still so HAPPY”
Abigail: “ I DON’T HAVE any terminal diseases, as long as I am still healthy, I can always take it again.”
Tester: “ Ok lah…anyway, you are inexperience and the route you took was a busy one”
Abigail: “ good what…all the more it really shows my driving skills in the real situation, otherwise, if too empty, I may pass but scared to drive”
Tester: “ But hor….i still think you too HAPPY. You are weird!”
In Abigail’s mind(the one with Acquired Brain Injury a.k.a ABI) :
“Make sure I don’t see you again… or I will really “DIE” the next time”
The sad thing is I cant remember his name…but I know I did it on purpose…so in psychology this phenomenon is called suppression.

I discovered my inner talent!
Hey, i think i am born to be a CLOWN! (that is what i felt and what my friends said)Will show you the pict when i get my hands onto one.
Well, it is tiring to entertain the intellectually disabled with lots of animation and stuff.taught them how to use the hammer to hit my butt. Yup, danced with a girl anddid some twist.To all the women, i did the magical flower performance and said that they are beautiful.To the Men, i hit their biceps and said that they are strong.To the children, i rubbed my self made red-nose and said,"you are cute"
My first make-up..a CLOWN. Wore purple pants with lots of design, yellow shirt,NJ tie,a clown vest, party hat, nose.blah blah.some of my friends helped out in stalls, pretending to be lost baby geese and of course i have another fellow clown!
Saw Mr Gerald Yee...SAD/he recognised me by my voice.He was mending a stall, which seemed to me like BIG CUSTOMISED SCRABBLE tiles on the floor. HAHA!ok.

HEYZ!!! let's try to meet up...again!!!
haha can't stand abi! but think she's really having a great time in sch uh? ayw my intention in blogging was initially to complain abt my driving...:p
like i'd tagged...it sucks hahaha n i really am irritated by my instructor. he's like always screeeeeeaming on the road: " don't brake! aiyoh why u still brake?! so slow alrdy still brake!" "press! press harder lah....i say press yer accelerator not yer brake!" "turn left turn left....check!!!! y u nv check your blind spot!" " turn.... turn more....more....MORE!!" oh man...i think i really suffer frm mental breakdown during my driving lesson....was forever under stress. how am i suppose to improve with this kinda instructor? haha...but i havent seen him for 2 lessons! tt's great....n i really made tremendous improvement eh! i used to not even be able to stay in the middle of the lane... now i can! i used to take the bends really badly.... can't turn properly... now i can! i've even down the sharp turns in the circuit with that new instructor haha! n learning my right turns n u-turns now... :) but dratz...after today i'll be gg to
help in the
HELP annual camp as one of the
helpers for 3 days. which means tt i'll not be having any lessons again this week... sayonara my new instructor... i hrd that tt they take me on alternate weeks so tt means i'm gonna like see HIM again?! God bless me...

Hello everyone...I am so happy that my holidays are here and now taking a short break.Of course when school reopens, i will have a hell time with projects and tests as the semester will be ending.Yup, while you pple still enjoying your orientation.Hey, my class made a video specially for those who left our course due to family pressure.It is a nice one i must say and quite funny.We had a mask fitting session, to prepare ourselves and all that.Quite fun.Oh yes, the music video we made was entitled "Always look on the bright side of life" You can see all my cheeky classmates.maybe i can upload on our yahoo...but i dont know how....
Are you ppl missing sch life?Just had biomechanics test.Sure can get a D(50-59%) and above.Definitely not an A(80%). So most likely between B&C (60-79%).Sociology test sure can get A if i interpret correctly.High distinction?maybe not.Hey, but the worse tests are not here yet.This coing Sat, my class have an outing and that is going to help out in a fun fair for MINDS(movement for the intellectually disabled) at tampines ITE. I will be one of the two clowns.The rest will be mother goose and baby geese.Last Sat just helped out at Yio Chu Kang grassroots in the foster parent's talk.(under MCYS and MCYC,the usual organisation i helped out during my interact club yrs)
Dont laugh! i signed up for lifeguard as a cca but still considering and floorball leisure.However, i dont think can make it as my time table is different from the other courses.Floorball, can never forget how we played that game in NJ.Not to forget, when you ppl go Uni, you will meet your old friends.Just like me! i met my sec and pri sch friends.I finally found my friend who walks home with me everyday.
I caught a cockroach during psychology lecture.

how come the tag board doesnt work.hey ok...6pm...in the mornig i will be helpuing MCYC &MCYS then afternnon got tuition...what a great way to start the holidays....must enjoy as i will have lots of projects and tests when sch reopens then i can look forward for my semester break in aug/sept..yah...and you girls starting sch..haha
