Critical Critique
It was an unforgetable 28 mar 2007( wondering if i got the date right)
We were invited to a play/production at $14.
5 of us were amongst the audience
1 behind the curtains/lights
1 selling tickets, whose booth seemed to say " Buy 5 tickets get MORE for free"
So, what happened to the 1 who didnt manage to turn up? According to reliable source, it was mentioned that he could be hanging brassiere in the bustling night city.
BUT dont be too happy to receive FREE tickets....
The contents below may seem unpleasant.the writer hopes that the contents here are not meant for any personal attacks and no names were mentioned. if anyone finds them offending, pl feel free to delete them.
1. Entertainment value from stage: 2 stars
2.Entertainment value from the audience: 5 stars (they were very critical )
3. Props: 5 stars ( are they from ancient Rome?Is the lamp post from London?)
4. Lighting: 4 stars (1 star fell becos the stage was all ready for a Ghost story at one point in time. But overall good! )
5. Actors and backstage crew: Good effort put in.( I am in no position to criticise)But spontaneity=2 star.when there was a spillage on the stage we were expecting back stage ppl or especiall the 1 selling tickets to be a road sweeper to mob the floor. Instead every dancer on the stage just kept staring at the spilled water. there were attempts to be spontaneous but sometimes the audience just dont get it! haha.
6. Story: It is $14 ppl! so stay in your seats!
